CINCINNATI, OH | June 5, 2024 — Orlando Sonza released the following statement regarding Greg Landsman's public attack on his hiring as Executive Director of the Veterans Service Commission of Hamilton County.

“As a Veteran, it’s my honor to serve in this role as Executive Director of the Veterans Service Commission of Hamilton County. I know what we need to do to help our fellow Veterans, and I’m humbled to have the opportunity to help lead this organization."

"The fact Greg Landsman and his allies are playing partisan politics with Veterans shows where their priorities are. None of them, including Landsman, have ever taken interest in this Commission, until now."

"Last time I checked, Landsman found the time to campaign and serve. If he thinks it's wrong, he should resign his current job to avoid short-changing Cincinnati voters."

"Landsman should focus more on delivering for our community and less on political grandstanding. I’m going to continue to serve my fellow Veterans and run a campaign to deliver results for Southwest Ohio.”
