CINCINNATI, OH | SEP. 20, 2023 — On Wednesday morning, Orlando Sonza announced the key endorsement of Senator JD Vance for his campaign for Congress in Ohio’s First Congressional District.

 

“I am honored to have the endorsement of Senator Vance. He’s been a highly thoughtful and effective leader in the Senate and I look forward to working with him in Washington to deliver results for Southwest Ohio.” Orlando Sonza said upon his announcement.

 

Senator Vance offered the following in his endorsement of Sonza: “Orlando Sonza is a proven conservative, West Point graduate, and proud U.S. Army veteran. His unwavering commitment to our conservative principles and his service to our nation make him the ideal choice to represent Ohio’s First Congressional District in congress. Orlando will bring integrity, experience, and a deep sense of duty to Washington. He has my full support and endorsement.”

 

Senator Vance joins a growing list of elected officials, community leaders, and grassroots activists backing Orlando Sonza. The Sonza campaign recently announced that it had received over 100 endorsements from across the region and state. In announcing this milestone, Sonza said “Republicans across the political spectrum are coming together to make Greg Landsman a one-term congressman. We are focused on talking about the issues that impact Ohio families: tackling inflation, ensuring safe neighborhoods for our kids, and advocating for parental involvement in our children’s education.”
