CINCINNATI, OH | APRIL 3, 2024 — Orlando Sonza released the following statement after being named to the Congressional Leadership Fund’s “Trailblazer” program.

“I’m honored to be included in this program, and we’re ready to give Greg Landsman the fight of his life this fall. Ohio families are tired of Landman’s failed leadership, and we look forward to flipping this seat red.”

According to Fox News, the 20 selected Republican candidates will receive financial support from the group's Trailblazers Fund, a hard-dollar arm set up ahead of the 2018 midterm elections to fund high-priority congressional campaigns.

Orlando Sonza is a proud Ohioan. A second-generation Filipino American, Orlando graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Orlando served on active duty as an Infantry Officer and Finance Officer with the 3rd Infantry Division at Fort Stewart, Georgia. After leaving active duty, Orlando obtained his master’s degree in taxation from the University of Cincinnati and his law degree from Georgetown Law. He is currently a prosecutor in the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s office. He and his wife Jessica live in Springfield Township with their four children..
