CINCINNATI, OH | OCT. 3, 2023 — On Tuesday, Orlando Sonza called on Greg Landsman to vote “no” on the motion to vacate Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House. This comes following the directive from Democratic Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries to all House Democrats to vote “yes” on the motion to vacate.

 

Orlando Sonza provided the following statement:

 

“The Democrats are playing an irresponsible game, where the only victim is the American People. The challenges facing our nation are immense, and the public deserves a government that works tirelessly on their behalf. It’s time for Democrats in Washington to set aside the partisan gamesmanship and get to work addressing crippling inflation, the fentanyl crisis, and the rise in crime throughout our country.

 

I urge Greg Landsman to vote “no”rather than voting in lockstep with Democrat leadership as he has always done. End the chaos. End the games. Do the right thing for the American People."
